Frequently Asked Questions

We provide services to people living with neurological conditions and physical disabilities.

Our team has expertise in the management of people living with the effects of Spinal Cord Injury, and our clinic is a state of the art facility equipped with specialised and conventional equipment for the spinal population.

There are a large number of neurological conditions that people can be born with or acquire across their lifespan. Stroke, Traumatic Brain Injury, Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy are some examples of other health conditions that affect the nervous system and result in physical disability.

Whilst we predominantly manage people with Spinal Cord Injury, we have the skills required to provide Support Coordination or Therapy services to people living with other neurological conditions and physical disability. We accept referrals for people living with other conditions if we think we are the most suitable service provider for your needs. For example, you may live close to our clinic or we might have the most appropriate equipment or services you need. We typically arrange for one of our clinicians to contact you and discuss if we are the best fit for you, and if you are aware of a service more appropriate for your needs, we won’t hesitate to share this information with you so that you can consider your options and make an informed choice.

Our Physiotherapists can provide you with therapy sessions at home when appropriate, and our Support Coordinators can meet with you at your home when required.

Our therapists and therapy assistants provide therapy in our clinic, at home or in the community. For example, we can visit your local gym or pool with you.

We predominantly provide clinic based therapy sessions to our clients. Our approach to implementing the best available evidence for neurorehabilitation into clinical practice involves providing you access to our team of clinicians and our equipment.
